Our Mission
AI Green Bytes is dedicated to supporting the AI revolution by building sustainable and power-efficient state-of-the-art data centres — what we call GPU Centres. Our clients access high-end GPUs through our GPU Cloud service rental platform.
As AI technologies continue to redefine industries and reshape the future, the demand for powerful computing resources has never been greater. By building and operating GPU Centres optimised for AI workloads, we provide the essential infrastructure that drives innovation.
We have embraced immersion cooling technology to increase server density, eliminate noise, and significantly lower power consumption. We use only 100% biodegradable cooling fluid, re-use heat into buildings, use zero water, and our GPU Centres are all zero emission.

Proven track record of successful startups from inception to trade sale / IPO: Founder/CEO of Infostream, Smart Call & Green Energy Group. Deep knowledge of Software, IT Technology, Renewable energy, Sustainability, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Management and Execution. Started his career at Dow Jones Markets and holds an MBA and Master of Management from Norwegian School of Economics.

Initiator of AI Green Bytes and over 30 years of experience as a tech entrepreneur, starting with the launch of one of the earliest ISPs in Iceland in 1993 and establishing the first data center in Reykjavik. Proven track record in data center operations, having led major projects at AT&T, Ericsson, and MCI Worldcom. Expert in optimizing data center efficiency, with a focus on reducing carbon footprints. 5 years of experience in Immersion Cooling technology.

Over 20 years in technology: IT consultancy, solutions architecture & software dev. Proven expertise in cloud integration: led IT solutions at Ice Development Consulting and Sønderjysk Forsikring G/S. Served as a Full Stack TIA Developer, specializing in Java, ADF, REST APIs, PL/SQL, and Forms. Designed and developed front-end and back-end solutions for insurance industry software. Collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure seamless IT integration.

AI Director
Jóhann Haukur Gunnarsson brings critical expertise from his previous role as a Principal Engineer at Ripple, a leader in enterprise blockchain and crypto solutions. His work at the intersection of distributed systems, fintech, and global compliance provides invaluable insight into building scalable, secure, and regulatory-aware platforms. He developed large-scale software projects like EVE Online and a deep background in software quality management, making him ideal to spearhead the development of a robust, trustworthy AI compute layer.
